    Warehouse Supervisor


    Location: Scarborough, Illinois (Onsite, 5 days per week). Salary: CAD $68,000 to $83,000 annually, commensurate with experience.

    Responsibilities

    • Drive safety, quality, productivity, inventory accuracy and service improvements within the department.
    • Manage efficient movement of goods and materials across multiple shifts and buildings, motivating a large team.
    • Hold daily KPI review meetings, provide updates, listen to feedback and facilitate Kaizen opportunities using GPS Lean management.
    • Maintain stock control systems, plan capacity requirements, and conduct accurate cycle counting processes.
    • Conduct internal warehouse inspections and equipment inspection reviews.
    • Issue maintenance work orders for warehouse and equipment repairs.
    • Report incidents and near misses using Origami and provide training on operational procedures and GMP standards.
    • Participate in physical inventory four times a year, produce regular reports and departmental statistics.
    • Own the Forklift Safety Program and optimize equipment like forklifts, skyjacks, and reach trucks.
    • Prepare for client audits, manage day‑to‑day freight issues, and verify invoices, trailers and outside warehouses.
    • Monitor departmental costs including labor and track vacation, sick leave and daily schedules through Dayforce.
    • Perform audits to ensure compliance, update procedures, and implement overall accountability for CTPAT.
    • Support special projects as needed.

    Qualifications

    • 3–5 years of supervisory experience in fast‑paced food manufacturing or distribution.
    • 4‑year degree in Business or related field is preferred; post‑secondary education required.
    • Flexible to work weekends and night shift as needed.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to influence without authority.
    • Drive engagement and results, consistently achieving objectives under tough circumstances.
    • Willingness to work onsite in Scarborough five days per week.
    • Prior Lean methodology experience is desired.
