An Inclusion Counsellor (IC) is responsible for assisting adults with diverse abilities to lead a full and integrated life within our community.
An IC is responsible for ensuring the physical, emotional, social, recreational, economic, educational, and/or medical needs of all individuals are met.
Tasks may include life skills training, budget management, goal development, setting, and following/implementing personal care plans. Moreover, an IC facilitates physical, recreational, educational, social, and vocational activities as needed. Most importantly, an IC assists our individuals by enhancing their quality of life through activities of daily living.Hours:
Monday - Friday 9AM-5PM
Requirement(s):
- Must be 19 years of age or older;
- Must hold a valid class 4 (or better) driver's license drivers abstract required;
- Related experience working with adults with diverse abilities is considered an asset;
- Basic computer skills and physical ability to carry out the duties as required;
- First Aid (Level 1)
- Criminal record check (will be performed by NEXUS upon hire)

$23.10 per hour
