- Knowledge acquired through the successful completion of a recognized PSW program which meet the current standards of the Ontario Ministry of Health & Long-Term Care Act
- Working knowledge of Gentle Persuasive Approach (GPA) Behavioral Support Ontario (BSO) and a minimum of one-year experience in palliative
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Current CPR
- Ability to understand, interpret and carry out the written and verbal instructions
- Ability to set priorities
- Ability to work collaboratively and effectively within a team
