Key Responsibilities

Serves as academic and first-point-of-contact leadership for students, faculty, and staff in their assigned program.

Works closely with the Academic Chair and Program Faculty to provide quality education and training delivery.

Collaborates with internal stakeholders such as Industry, Accrediting Agencies, Educational Institutions, Business Sectors or Government on programming needs.

The Program Head will also be responsible for:

• Nurturing student recruitment & retention initiatives to foster a positive student experience through the entire lifecycle. 
• Spearheading staff recruitment/selection, orientation and coaching of staff across various programs while fostering excellence in teaching via Saskatchewan Polytechnic Instructor Competencies.  
   
  The role requires innovation at its core along each stage from policy formulation to implementation. Key areas requiring this creative thought include budget management resource allocation educational development project coordination ensuring meaningful contributions to forward-thinking solutions which enhance campus life&s ecosystem overall.",
