Cybersecurity Project Manager
What will you be doing?
This role is a key customer-facing position within the development team that includes:
Business Analysis:
Facilitate requirement gathering sessions using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis /process mapping Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, and decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding Proactively communicate and collaborate with customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements and deliver project artifacts such as: functional requirements (business requirements document), use cases, screen and interface designs, data flow diagrams, workflow diagrams, training documents etc.
Project Management:
Direct and manage all phases of the project from inception to completion to ensure on-time delivery Assemble and coordinate project team members, assign individual responsibilities and follow-ups Monitor and control all project activities, issues, changes requests, risks and overall quality of deliverables Plan and oversee the preparation and dissemination of all project communications including updates to the master project portfolio and project calendar Communicate with project sponsors, senior management and functional area managers and/or consultants regarding the status of specific projects through formal and informal verbal and written communication method Manage multiple initiatives/projects simultaneously
Educations and Experiences:
- Three (3) or more years of project management experience, preferably in an IT Infrastructure or IT Security field
- Possession of a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is an asset
- Ability to manage ten or more projects simultaneously
- Demonstrated Project Management (PM) competencies: budget and timeline management, scope management, risk management, timely decision making, effective team building, ability to prioritize and delegate appropriately and deal with changing priorities
- Strong technology understanding coupled with industry skills and a track record of understanding IT Security Technology (Networking, Firewalls, IDS/IPS, Content Filtering, Strong Authentication, PCI-DSS Compliance, Penetration Testing) is an asset
Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent
Salary:
$58,254.00-$100,000.00 per year
