Position Overview:

Job Description:


  • Conducting customer demonstrations of equipment.
  • Delivering equipment at time of sale.
  • Training customer operators on features of Cat machines.
  • After sales follow up on machine operation.
  • Maintain a current and thorough knowledge of Caterpillar products and Finning related services.
  • Recommend technology and/or safety to improve machines and site performance.
  • Regular travel throughout the dealership territory.
  • Delivery of effective customer and group presentations.
Specific Skills & Experience

  • Highly skilled at operating Caterpillar construction and forestry equipment
  • Welldeveloped interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
  • Selfstarter with the ability to work with mínimal supervision
  • Contribute positively to a quality team environment
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong customer relationships
  • Knowledge of the construction and forestry industries
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in operating a variety of Cat equipment including excavators, wheel loaders, motorgraders, dozers and scrapers
  • Experience with forestry equipment would be an asset and the expectation would be to familiarize yourself with Cat forestry equipment going forward
