Your future role on our team
Help prepare plans, specifications and reports;
Design power line and substation structures;
Perform other technical functions to support project deliver;
Assist with site inspections and surveys;
Help plan, organize and assess work;
Help prepare estimates, bills of quantities, schedules, budgets, specifications and reports;
When required, participate in monitoring and commissioning technological solutions;
Ensure quality control of the work of engineers and drafters;
Assess client satisfaction and maintain close and harmonious relationships with clients and their representatives;
Coordinate the work of contractors on site and monitor work.

Overview of certifications and job requirements

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, specialization in Structural;
From one to five years of experience;
Proficiency in technical writing;
Advanced knowledge in reading drawings;
Intermediate knowledge of workplace safety and field monitoring;
Knowledge of SAFI or the PLS-CADD suite;
Proficient with the relevant code of ethics;
Intermediate knowledge of quality system procedures and instructions;
Available to travel to client sites and offices (20% to 40% of the time);
Bilingual (English and French).
