Temperate and tropical wildlife ecology and conservation; roles of wildlife in forest conservation; impacts of forestry practices and landscape modification on wildlife; ecology and viability of wildlife populations; human uses and abuses of game and non-game species.

Approximately 20-30 students
Salary:
Sessional Lecturer I - $9,457.90; Sessional Lecturer I Long Term - $9,930.79; Sessional Lecturer II - $10,121.77; Sessional Lecturer II Long Term - $10,326.62; Sessional Lecturer III - $10,362.
76; Sessional Lecturer III Long Term - $10, inclusive of vacation pay)
Please note that should rates stipulated in the collective agreement vary from rates stated in this posting, the rates stated in the collective agreement shall prevail.
Minimum Qualifications:
Knowledge in wildlife conservation, ecosystem management, and endangered species.
Background in animal ecology and ecosystem management highly desirable with forestry experience advantageous. PhD preferred but open to Masters with additional experience.
Description of Duties:
Prepare and deliver lectures, organize guest speakers, maintain course notes and readings, organize lab and fieldwork sessions, set and mark course assignments, which may include mid-term, essay and final examination or other assignments, with the support of a TA; compile, record and submit final marks.
