Position:


Working from our head office in rural Chilliwack, and with the support of our CFO, the Controller's prime responsibility is to lead a team of seven charged with the key financial duties of the group: AP, AR, treasury, payroll, compliance, and financial analysis and reporting.

The Controller develops, implements, and monitors procedures and internal controls necessary to ensure financial metrics are complete, accurate, and timely.

In addition, the safeguarding of assets and the provision of high-quality financial information to key stakeholders for operational reporting and decision-making purposes are guiding directives.

This hands-on dynamic role is fully engaged with month-end and year-end closing activities, the ongoing monitoring of key administrative metrics and controls, and the support of colleagues through guidance and supervision.

REQUIRED CERTIFICATES / QUALIFICATIONS:


  • CPA certification
  • Minimum five years accounting experience
  • Supervisory experience
  • Construction or job order costing experience an asset
