Your key responsibilities
As Indirect Tax, Manager you'll primarily be responsible for working on indirect tax advisory engagements. You will be using cutting-edge technology and working with team-oriented colleagues.

Core elements of the role include;

Carrying out technical research, drafting memos, letters of opinion and various reports as part of a client's detailed indirect tax review
Developing and delivering timely services and work products that meet or exceed client expectations
Preparing practical and creative solutions applicable to the client's tax situation and arriving at appropriate conclusions
Independently managing multiple engagements
Identifying future opportunities for indirect tax engagements

To qualify for the role you must have;

A bachelor's degree, preferably with an emphasis on law, accounting or finance
4 or more years of relevant, progressive, Canadian tax experience
Strong project management and organizational skills with a proven ability to consistently meet tight deadlines
Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and problemsolving abilities
Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities
A high level of drive and motivation along with a commitment to learning in a tax technology environment
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
