We offer warehousing space to our clients who do not have the ability to store their goods in-house. Our warehousing facilities are readily available for you to place your cargo until it's ready for shipping.

We are looking for a seasoned Warehouse Shift Supervisor for our Food Grade temp. controlled warehouse in Brantford.

  • Warehouse supervisor will develop, implement, and maintain Food Safety and quality assurance protocols
  • Warehouse supervisor will ensure correct product & quantities are delivered to the customer as per the order on time & in saleable condition;
  • Warehouse supervisor will ensure Warehouse is maintained in good working order & ensure the safety & efficiency of the work environment.
  • Monitors planned volume to actual and adjusts labor needs to support volume;
  • Ensures Forklift Operators responsibilities are clearly defined and performance objectives are being met;
  • Develops & establishes systems & process to reduce costs & waste while increasing productivity;
  • Coordinated logistics operations including scheduling truck deliveries and managing dock appointments efficiently.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment in the receiving department.
  • Maintaining accurate inventory records and conducting regular audits to identify and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Developing and implementing new strategies for improving the efficiency of the receiving process, such as implementing new techniques or streamlining workflows.
  • Preparing the paperwork for the outbound shipments & returns.
  • Track staffing requirements, hiring new employees as needed
  • Ensures that all operational line items are managed within budget;
  • Using a new ERP system, quick learner and can adapt to changes
  • Manage and approve payroll, overtime and time & attendance system
  • Comply and ensure all warehouse employee are following company policies and procedures
  • Strong knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Laws and Regulations
  • Flexibility to work outside of regular working hours including weekends and evening;
  • Oversee materials and inventory
Skill and Competencies

  • Min 46 years experience in running a Food grade warehouse
  • Conversant will all Food Safety policies and protocols
  • Trained in HACCP and Food Safety
  • Conversant in 3PL warehouse systems
  • Knowledge in Lean & Six Sigma type practices and philosophies
  • Excellent critical thinking skills with an emphasis of analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proven ability to effectively manage a team, including coaching and mentoring

Salary:
$50,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
