Miss Jones Cannabis Outposts - Supervisors

Miss Jones is looking for Supervisor to join our growing team.

This role is the first and last impression for our customers, and as such, the role is a vital one within the operation.

The Supervisor is a personal representation of the service and overall brand experience.

Whether customers are waiting to enter the store, asking about the products we carry, looking for a customized experience or just stopping by for their regular order, it is the job of the Supervisor to ensure that the customers are felt welcome, kept comfortable, and are informed.

The Supervisor should recognize repeat customers and address them by name. They are also responsible for fulfilling orders when needed, working in the backroom and assisting on the door.


THE ROLE

  • Exude a warm, friendly, and welcoming disposition to customers as they arrive; thank customers upon their departure from the store
  • Always be willing to help, assist, and direct customers within the store and elsewhere
  • Walk customers through the store and answer any questions they may have
  • Educate customers on the products available and how to consume responsibly
  • Identify ideal products to suit the customer's needs and requests
  • Suggest additional products and build sales based on customer suggestions
  • Stay knowledgeable on new products, changes in laws and industry trends
  • Assist with and execute daily dispensary operations, POS, cash handling, showroom maintenance and overall dispensary cleanliness
  • Assist with inventory execution
  • Understand all policies regarding legal cannabis sales and proper ID'ing practices
  • Fully comprehend the menu offerings to best answer customer's questions
  • Maintain and perform all housekeeping duties as assigned, ensure optimal standards, and adhere to all control procedures and security policies
  • Communicate to Management any issues, customer comments & complaints
  • Ensure a safe working area for all colleagues and customers, including company COVID19 procedures
  • Assist with other duties when necessary, such as peak service times

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma
  • Previous customer service or hospitality experience is an asset
  • Must be CannSell Standard Certified
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Friendly, outgoing, and willing to initiate conversations with customers
  • Proactive; anticipating customer needs
  • Have a high attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Able to work under pressure in a fast pace environment
  • Team player
  • Understand all policies regarding legal cannabis sales and proper identification practices

Job Type:
Part-time

Part-time hours: 15-20 per week


Salary:
$18.00 per hour


Schedule:

  • 4 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
  • Holidays
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability

Experience:

- sales: 2 years (preferred)

- customer service: 2 years (preferred)


Licence/Certification:

  • CannSell Standard (preferred)
