Our team is currently looking for a:

Event Assistant (4 Month Contract - May to September 2023)

Job Description:

Support the annual OTIP Charity Golf Classic, Corporate Fun Day and LTD Benefits Conference with advance preparation.
Onsite support for the Corporate Fun Day and OTIP Charity Golf Classic, and postevent cleanup and organizing.
Assist with the coordination of event details such as catering, décor, auction, promotional materials, printing, gifts, prizes, and other eventrelated components.
Reconcile vendor invoices and ensure these costs are tracked within our budget.
Coordinate and maintain various attendee lists to ensure accuracy.
Assist with volunteer coordination for various events and work with committee members to assist with assigned duties as required.
Order and coordinate supplies needed for events.
Prepare presentations to be used during events.
Assist with other events as required.

Qualifications:

Exceptional communication skills and the demonstrated ability to deal effectively with all levels of internal and external stakeholders.
Superior time management and organizational skills to manage competing priorities.
Selfstarter who is proactive and takes the initiative to complete tasks and manage multiple projects independently.
Exceptional attention to detail.
Team player who is able to work in a highly energetic and fastpaced environment.
Knowledge of online event platforms and technology is considered an asset.
Previous experience in Event Coordination is considered an asset.
