Jim Pattison Hyundai Surrey has an opportunity for a full-time Parts & Service Advisor to join our team


Job Summary:


Reporting to the Parts & Service Manager, you will act as the dealership's front-line customer relations and service sales representative.

As a Service Advisor, you will be responsible for handling customer service requests and concerns, meeting predetermined service and parts sales objectives, and performing designated administrative duties accurately.

Our dynamic dealership is looking for an energetic, dynamic, and results-oriented individual who strives to achieve excellence in customer satisfaction.


Requirements:


  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Promptly meet and greet parts and service customers in a friendly and courteous manner.
  • Listen to customers' reasons for requesting certain parts and accessories.
  • Offer appropriate parts or accessories to satisfy customer requirements.
  • Provide accurate quotes for all parts labour or accessories recommended.
  • Answer incoming telephone calls promptly and courteously.
  • Ensure all parts are inspected upon arrival and any damages noted.
  • Process returns regularly based on the required guidelines.
  • Efficiently provide parts to technicians for vehicle repair and maintenance.
  • Contact potential new wholesale customers and ask for business.
  • Ensure inventory is accurately maintained.
  • Good organization skills.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience:


  • Experience with ordering, tracking and stocking required.
  • Forwardfacing customer service experience or sales experience.
  • Automotive service and parts experience is an asset.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

Technical Skills:


  • Experience with DMS software such as CDK is an asset.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent organizational and realistic time management skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team and on own initiative.
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment with ease.
