Regional Janitorial and Maintenance is ready to inspire a Janitorial and Maintenance Expert in our expansion of evolving janitorial and maintenance projects across all client facilities and projects in Southern Ontario, beginning at our project at Pearle Development in Elora, ON.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Janitorial and Maintenance Expert's primary accountability is balancing the execution of janitorial client services and maintenance projects.

• Lead by example; join our Subcontractors and Janitorial Associates in preparing, cleaning, and maintaining client facilities.
• Move materials and equipment and perform demolition and compaction activities.
• Review and execute maintenance project deliverables with the Team according to the specifications and schedule.
• Handle and distribute construction materials.
• Be an equalbusiness partner; join the leadership Team in staying up to date on industry trends and best practices.
• Foster and promote a positive and safe work culture.
• Ensure that that services are performed according to service specifications and scheduling while exceeding client expectations.
• Actively and consistently collaborate in health and safety, security and cleanliness initiatives.
• Report any malfunctions and repair needs relating to restrooms, elevators, waste containers and alarm systems to the Operations Manager.
• Maintain and use a variety of cleaning and maintenance equipment and tools.
• Assist the Operations Manager with the logistics of project materials.
• Participate and contribute to ongoing learning and development programs onsite and through a variety of eLearning platforms.
• Travel to multiple facilities within one shift.

• A minimum of 3 years of maintenance, janitorial or custodial experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and problemsolving skills.
• Selfdrive in meeting project deliverables, deadlines, and client expectations.
• Positive, professional, safety oriented and clientcentric attitude.
• Proven experience as a collaborative Team player.
• Professional working proficiency of the English language.
• Ability to work in diverse weather conditions in both indoor and outdoor environments.
• Working knowledge of janitorial and maintenance operations, best practices, and standard procedures.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, stand for long periods and lift and work with materials up to 55 lbs.
• Valid Ontario driver's license and ability to drive to client facilities.
• Posses a clear criminal record.
• Ability to work overtime hours and according to schedules that meet the needs of Regional's evolving projects such as evenings and weekends.
