The primary responsibility is to provide an assortment of beverages for patrons in the bar as well as prepare those at a service bar for bar servers and dining room servers.


WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

  • Open and close the bar by completing any necessary prep work and closing duties to prepare the area for the following shift
  • Process orders using the pointofsale system in place
  • Ensure the accuracy of cash out deposits is maintained by carefully monitoring cash exchanges, proof of debit/credit transactions and attention to detail on end of shift report
  • Maintain excellent product knowledge including regular inventory as well as special features to educate guests on offerings in a friendly, animated and efficient manner
  • Complete accurate inventory and ordering/maintaining par stocks and keeping bar maintained with stock at all times
  • Check guest ID as mandated by the LLBO (any guest 25 and under must be carded)
  • Act as a sales agent for and has the knowledge to prepare cocktails and pour draft. Understands food service

WHAT DO YOU NEED FROM ME?

  • Must be 18 years of age
  • Must have Smart Serve Certificate
  • Prior bartending experience considered an asset
  • Excellent customer service and communication Skills
  • Familiar with POS system considered an asset
  • Reliable, punctual and professional in presentation
