Intor Construction is a privately owned construction company, based in Toronto, whose focus is on both commercial and residential construction. We have over 20 years experience in the construction industry and have extensive experience with the construction of high end restaurants in the Toronto Core.

We are currently expanding our team to meet the demands of new business ventures.

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager who can be part of a small team and who is willing to be "hands on" as jobs evolve.

When you work with us, you will be involved in actively meeting the challenges that come with being a key player in the success of cultivating business relationships.

Key responsibilities are as follows

  • Plan all phases of the construction lifecycle from initiation to completion.
  • Obtain all necessary regulatory approvals and permits.
  • Orders necessary supplies, tools, and equipment.
  • Makes sure projects are aligned with agreedupon plans.
  • Manages a site supervisor and oversees their work. OR
- works directly with onsite supervisors to ensure completion of work in a timely manner

  • Communicates with clients and delivers project progress reports.
  • Develops and adheres to budgets, timelines, and quality control plan.
  • Collaborates with architects, engineers, electricians, and other trades.
  • Ensures that all local, building codes, regulations and safety precautions are followed.
  • Uses scheduling software to update schedules and track progress
  • Handles pre construction tasks for up coming projects

Qualifications and skills required

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5 years experience working in the construction industry as a Project Manager
  • Experience with project management software is required, specifically Pro core
  • Proven skills in the building of strong relationships with clients, contractors, and construction workers.
  • Must have proven strong organizational, timemanagement, problemsolving, and budgeting skills.
  • Ability to work as a team player
  • Ability to adapt to the changing business needs

Salary:
$75,000.00-$100,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • 10 hour shift
  • 12 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift

Supplemental pay types:

  • Bonus pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Toronto, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
