Responsibilities and Duties

  • Managing different categories of products within the cycle of RFQ, creating PO, monitoring Ontime delivery to dealing with claims
  • Maintaining cooperative supplier relationships with possibility of sourcing new suppliers
  • Negotiating price, payment terms and delivery
  • Reviewing and controlling product line and inventory levels
  • Negotiating shipping container contracts and scheduling
  • Prior to shipment ensure suppliers are complying with all packaging requirements
  • Coordinate delivery of containers with trucking companies
  • Research new items and categories

Qualifications and Skills

  • Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Math or a relevant field.
  • Experience with forecasting and procurement systems an asset as well as data processing, data quality control, data entry and verification
  • Excellent computer skills and full proficiency with Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas including vlookup) is required
  • High level attention to detail, critical thinking, analytical, and capable of working in a rigorous environment consisting of a high volume of information and comparative analysis.
  • Strong personality and excellent communication skills
