The Centre for Entertainment Arts is looking for an Education Assistant to join their team

Who Are You?

A Day in the Life

  • Work closely with students, providing personalized instruction and reinforcing concepts presented by Instructors in a oneonone or small group setting.
  • Foster an environment of positive behavior and respect by enforcing school and classroom rules and teaching proper conduct to students.
  • Play a vital role in ensuring accurate and timely recordkeeping, such as attendance tracking and grade calculation, to support the academic success of students.
  • Assist teachers in preparing for class by setting up equipment and getting materials ready, ensuring that the classroom environment is conducive to learning.
  • Serve as a liaison between students and Instructors, providing support both in and outside of the classroom, and creating a collaborative learning environment.
  • Gain valuable experience by leading laboratory sessions and helping students gain handson experience in the field.
  • Play an important role in ensuring a safe and enjoyable learning environment by supervising students during class, between classes, and on field trips.
  • Contribute to the overall success of the school by helping with various tasks as needed, providing opportunities to develop new skills and expand your knowledge.
  • Be prepared for a range of tasks and responsibilities assigned by your Program Chair, providing a diverse and dynamic work environment.

What You Bring

  • Proven experience working with and instructing students is advantageous, with the ability to provide guidance, support, and constructive feedback.
  • Possesses critical thinking and problemsolving skills, with the ability to adapt and respond to changing situations in a dynamic and fastpaced environment.
  • Strategic thinker with experience using MS Office and social media platforms.
  • Professional and versatile written and verbal communication skills to work effectively with key stakeholders.
  • Exceptional time management and organizational abilities to manage competing priorities and thrive in a fastpaced work environment.
  • Ability to project a professional and positive image while maintaining discretion and confidentiality.

Your Perks & Benefits

  • Base compensation ($32,000), or pro rata salary for the number of hours worked if less than full time.

$32,000.00 per year
