The Surety Solutions department is a multi-functional team that supports the operations of our Surety line of business across North America.

As a Project Analyst, Surety Solutions, you will contribute to the planning, monitoring and management of a wide variety of Surety projects and initiatives.

You will assist in the leading of cross-functional teams, to ensure project deliverables are produced within required scope and deadlines.

The Project Analyst will be the primary coordinator and facilitator of most projects undertaken by the Surety Solutions Technology and Innovations teams.

Responsible for contribution to planning, monitoring, coordinating, and managing of projects.

Ensures Surety Solutions team members and Surety leadership are kept informed of critical updates, changes or threats to various projects.

Responsible for compilation of project related data and information across a variety of simultaneous and multi-faceted projects and initiatives.

Coordination of key project related data, information, and reporting, including requirements, timelines, milestones, deliverables, and communications.
Primary liaison between multidisciplinary teams involved in Surety Solutions projects.
Assist in planning and development of project and program roadmaps.
Provide regular updates on project progress and risks to team leads.
Provide Surety expertise in projectrelated discussions and meetings, including requirements gathering, business impact assessments and planning sessions.
Provide input and leadership to team members on task prioritization.

Primary Responsibilities

Project Management: Contribute to development of project requirements and scope; assist in setting of project deadlines; coordinate documentation of project specifications.
Project Coordination: Communicate project scope, goals, and responsibilities to team members; establish clear customer expectations, and requirements of varying degrees of complexity.
Project Planning: Assist in defining of program and project road maps, considering various stakeholder interests. Assist with prioritization of tasks and activities for project team members.
Project Monitoring & Reporting: Develop reporting procedures and monitor performance in project control activities; prepare and distribute reports related to project activities, general project management.
Process Improvements: Assist in developing and modifying internal processes and procedures to improve process, project/product management and communication methods. Ensure effective and efficient use of business analysis processes, resources, and tools.

What you bring to the table:

Strong understanding of the Surety business, bonding principles, and underwriting.
Experience and/or professional training in Project Management Lifecycle and/or Agile principles.
Business Analysis experience (requirements gathering & documentation, UA testing, etc.)
35 years of proven experience in project analysis and/or management, working with multiple stakeholders to deliver tangible results.
Proven leadership skills based on Intact's leadership success factors.
Strong organizational/priority management skills.
Strong analytical and communication skills.
Familiarity/experience with Intact Surety systems a strong asset.
University degree or College diploma required.
French and English fluency preferred.

Travel Requirements

Some Travel Required (13 times per quarter).
US Travel required; must have a valid passport.
