Job Summary
The Rotman Research Institute at Baycrest has an opportunity for Senior Research Coordinator. The position involves conducting clinical research activities associated with client care in accordance with research protocols.The Senior Research Coordinator will conduct clinical in-person assessments with study participants, monitor symptoms and changes in conditions, complete adverse event reports, and contribute to REB submissions and communications. The role requires excellent communication skills and ability to document concisely.
Key qualifications include a post-secondary degree in a science or healthcare related discipline, phlebotomy certification, certification in genetic counselling (strongly preferred), 2-3 years previous research or clinical trials experience (preferred), extensive knowledge about cognitive brain aging tools measures current GCP familiarity Health Canada FDA ICH GCP regulations excellent computer skills ability adapt new technologies knowledge Freedom Information Protection Privacy Act FIPPA requirements Personal Health Information Protection Act 2004 good verbal written listening skills documentation concisely client-focused service approach effectively communicate clients families ability work stakeholders.
