    Working in a team environment, the Operator is responsible for packaging quality envelopes into appropriately labelled boxes, assisting the Adjuster in the start-up of the machine, and maintaining a safe work area while maintaining optimal productivity. Expected to report for work on time.

    This role is for the Night Shift: 10pm-6am.
    Starting salary: 18.62$

    Responsibilities:

    • Check the docket to ensure that the correct boxes, labels, and envelopes are being used for the order
    • Assists the Adjuster with the start-up of the machine
    • Removes finished envelopes from the machine
    • Inspects the envelopes
    • Removes damaged and poor quality envelopes & replaces them
    • Applies proper labels on boxes of product
    • Packs and stamps boxes
    • Arranges finished product cartons on skids
    • Maintains a clean and safe working area (including sweeping, mopping & general housekeeping)
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Requirements:

    • Minimum Secondary School Diploma or equivalent.
    • Capable of lifting 40 lbs.
    • Ability to read and understand written instructions
    • Ability to write legibly and use a ruler
    • Basic math skills (count & track number of envelopes produced)
    • Good hand/eye co-ordination.
    • Punctual & Dependable
    • Self-motivated, enthusiastic, high energy, team player.
    • Willingness to work with or help others as necessary.
    • Strong safety awareness and commitment to following safety protocols.
    • Ability to learn.
