Description
We are currently looking for a Warehouse Supervisor for our Regina branch.


This Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that product is moved through the warehouse efficiently and in a safe and timely manner, and that products are maintained in an organized, safe manner.

This role oversees the immediate Warehouse team, including managing warehouse personnel, logístical planning, documentation, providing customer service, and fulfilling other projects/ tasks related to warehouse management


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Organize, plan, schedule, and delegate daily work loads, product movement, and transport; oversee work output (to ensure appropriate, safe, and accurate work is completed in a timely manner) and team members (including train, performance manage/ evaluate, and schedule/ track attendance)
  • Operating alongside Warehouse Associates to aid in the day to day tasks such as loading/unloading trucks, using material handling equipment, packaging items, maintaining inventory, etc.
  • Completing and filing appropriate paperwork such as BOLs, waybills, customs documents, packing slip
  • Oversee, maintain, and replenish inventory, accordingly ensuring that organizational processes and values are being followed; ensure that cycle counts are conducted accurately, appropriately and consistently
  • Strategically observe, develop, and implement warehouse systems that increase productivity, decrease waste, and improve operations
  • Ensure that equipment and workspace is functional, including performing daily inspections of material handling equipment, identifying and rectifying hazards, maintaining an organized work area, and appropriately filing paperwork.
  • Follow and implement systems that increase productivity, efficiency, and accuracy
  • Troubleshoot discrepancies, appropriately handle OS&Ds (Over/Short/Damaged product), and handle customer complaints regarding service, transportation scheduling, product, and other concerns
  • Provide assistance to other departments including, but not limited to sales, quality, and supply chain, on an as-needed basis
  • Observe and adhere to all safety policies and identify and report unsafe work practices or conditions
  • Provide an exceptional level of customer service to internal and external stakeholders

Supervisory Responsibilities:


  • This job requires some leadership and supervisory responsibilities, where employees are responsible for managing small teams and ensuring that work is completed accurately and cohesively within the team.
  • Work is structured in such a way that the tasks to be completed are presented to the incumbent, with the onus being placed on them to decide and delegate the order in which they are to be done

Education and/or Experience

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
Years of Warehouse Experience

  • 5+ Years Leadership Experience
  • Division 8/10 Knowledge/ Experience an Asset
  • Successful completion of Leadership and Safety Excellence (LSE) Certificate/ Training
  • Incident Reporting and Investigation Training

Practical/Technical Skills

  • Attention to technical details
  • Proven ability to conduct cycle counts and maintain inventory
  • Proven ability to complete work in a safe, accurate, and timely manner
  • Proven ability to manage and prioritize workloads

Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have a minimum of a basic ability to:

  • Operate computer software including Microsoft Office
  • Safety Software including Site Docs
  • ERP systems

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

  • Fall Protection Training an Asset
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Material Handling Machine (ex: Forklift, Pallet Jack, etc.) Certifications an asset or as required per your role
