    Description

    Candoor Overhead Door Ltd is a overhead garage door service and installation company based out of Mississauga, Ontario (servicing GTA and the surrounding areas). We provide services in commercial, industrial and residential overhead doors and garage doors.

    *We are looking for an experienced industry technician to add to our team.* This individual must be mechanically inclined and have knowledge of garage door installation and repairs. Having experience with commercial and residential garage door is an asset.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Installation of overhead doors and garage doors
    • Service and Repairs of overhead doors and garage doors
    • Load and unload vehicles
    • Maintain work truck (re-stock truck, keep tools/parts organized and report any issues with the vehicle to management)
    • Supervising and teaching apprentices while on site
    • Taking the lead role while on service calls and installation jobs

    Skills and Qualifications:

    • Ability to work at heights is a must
    • Work with mechanical, hydraulic and electrical applications
    • "G" class license
    • Ability to drive and operator forklifts and scissor lifts
    • Excellent customer service abilities and communication with our customer/ office staff
    • 2-3 years experience in the overhead door and garage door industry
    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Ability to write and communicate in English
    • Working at heights certifications, WHMIS, equipment operation certifications is an asset
