***: The Brand Manager will lead execution and implementation of brand strategy across Canucks Sports & Entertainment (CSE) brands and is passionate about uncovering consumer insights and delivering innovative solutions that drive business results. The incumbent is an experienced strategist with a proven track record of developing, championing, and executing effective data-driven brand strategies. They will partner closely with cross functional teams to connect our teams and business to our fans, partners, and community.
This role will focus on:
- Partnering on the development of CSE brand plans to meet business objectives and brand strategy with Director, Marketing
- Translating highlevel brand strategies into concrete, actionable gotomarket strategies
- Developing positioning recommendations based on market research
- Owning the Market Research plan and working with internal and external research tools and partners to fulfil Marketing team research needs
- Leveraging fan insights to support development of fan and brand initiatives across the company, including brand executions that engage and celebrate our diverse fan base
- Developing guidelines and ensure consistency of brand messaging across the organization
- Managing, analyzing, and driving growth in brand health
- Partnering with the Marketing team to develop compelling messaging across all channels to drive fan engagement and grow our fanbase within target fan segments
- Collaborating with the Digital, Content, and Marketing teams, developing strategic storytelling plans to support corporate objectives

YOU MUST HAVE:
- Postsecondary degree or diploma in a related field such as Business Administration or Marketing
- 35 years' related industry experience at a strategist level with a focus on brand development and management
- Proven campaign development experience with outstanding creative brief writing and presentation skills
- Ability to quickly action high level strategy into executable tactics
- Proven success in leveraging a brand to achieve business results through consumerfacing campaigns
- Strong analytical skills and datadriven thinking
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively lead, develop, and inspire others
- High degree of comfort facilitating discussions at all levels of seniority, with an ability to foster alignment and promote productive discussion
- Uptodate with latest trends and marketing best practices to reach and influence consumers
- Ability to handle conflicting deadlines and prioritize
- Ability to work evenings and weekends as required
YOU MIGHT ALSO HAVE:
- Sound knowledge of sports business operations
