Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy and Execution:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for catering events.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities while maintaining and nurturing existing client relationships.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials and campaigns that effectively showcase our hotel's group and catering offerings.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Cultivate strong relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and industry influencers.
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met and exceeded.
  • Conduct regular client meetings and site visits to showcase the hotel's facilities and services.

Event Planning and Coordination:

  • Work closely with the events and catering teams to plan and execute successful events.
  • Oversee the coordination of catering logistics, ensuring seamless execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide guidance on event design, menu selection, and other details to meet client expectations.

Financial Management:

  • Monitor financial performance against targets and implement corrective actions as needed.

Market Analysis and Competitor Research:

  • Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
  • Utilize market insights to identify opportunities for growth and areas for improvement.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality, or a related field is an asset.

Proven experience in hotel sales, with a focus on group bookings and catering events.

Strong understanding of the hospitality industry, market dynamics, and customer behavior.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Willingness to travel for client meetings, industry events, and trade shows.
