Job Description:


The Temporary Curriculum Administrator provides guidance, administrative support, direction, and training to the academic, administrative, and support staff as it relates to the Annual Curriculum Review; program and course implementation and revision; attestation and implementation of program standards; implementation of PQR curriculum action items; and annual course outline mapping and update activities, leveraging Ministry of Colleges and Universities (MCU), Credentials Validation Service, and College directives, policies and procedures.

The incumbent works closely with the Registrar's Office and Marketing to interpret program revisions within program modification templates and other forms of documentation, and support their entry and validation in the SIS, as well as on program pages on the College website.


The incumbent is integral in supporting targeted, R3-driven curriculum revisions through the Annual Curriculum Review to ensure curriculum readiness and stable SIS data for the academic year, and ensures effective internal liaison related to programs and curriculum within the College, and externally with other colleges and universities, Ministry officials, and various organizations.


Required Qualifications- Three (3) year diploma or degree, preferably in Education or Public Administration; related programs would also be considered;- Seven (7) years' experience in a college environment; a minimum of five years in an academic related position, preferably within the College;- Knowledge of the community college educational structure and experience in a post-secondary environment;- Knowledge of curriculum development and program approval processes;- In depth knowledge and comprehension of College policies and procedures.

Ability to interpret, comprehend and explain complex data; Ability to work under pressure, handle several projects at once and meet deadlines;- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills;- Demonstrated problem-solving and evaluation skills.
