Description

The full time Store Supervisor will be a member of the store management team and be responsible for providing leadership and direction while ensuring efficient and effective store operations to the sales floor.

You will demonstrate your passion for the Columbia brand by driving sales in the store.

You will lead and supervise a team of Sales Associates, provide guidance and direction to ensure exceptional customer service through coaching and development, and leading by example.

You will train Sales Associates and perform store procedures including cash transactions, product flow, visual standards.

You will oversee and authorize cash register transactions, perform regular daily store activities such as opening and closing procedures, balancing registers, preparing cash bags and activating security system.

You will act as store manager in the absence of the Manager and Assistant Manager.

Physical requirements include the ability to use the telephone, computerized cash register; perform repetitive movements of the arms and shoulders, stand for extended periods of time, move freely around the store, bend, twist, reach, squat, climb a ladder occasionally and regularly lift/carry up to 40 pounds.

The position requires a high school diploma. Two years experience in retail operations, management, supervisory or leadership experience preferred.

Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and holidays.
