Description
Duties & Responsibilities- Responsible for processing AP/AR and disbursing payments to vendors while improving overall accounting efficiencies
- Process approved invoices from internal and external vendors promptly and effectively and provide followup accordingly. This includes verification for reasonableness of monthly expenses, whether recurring or nonrecurring ones
- Prepare journal entries and post entries in QuickBooks & LoneWolf
- Determine proper classification of accounting codes and expenditure codes
- Assist with account reconciliation and monthend closing
- Resolve discrepancies by checking all possible sources of disagreement, reconstructing probable actions
- Preparing HST returns
- Post accruals, cash receipts, quarter and monthend adjusting entries, accounts payable, accounts receivable adjustments
- Consistently offers professional, engaging and friendly service
- May be required to work extended hours at monthend
- Must be willing to undergo a security background check at the expense of the company
- Possess at least 3+ years of relevant Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable experience
- Knowledge of QuickBooks is desirable
- Real Estate or Property Management bookkeeping experience is considered an asset but not a requirement
