ABOUT US

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
Reporting to the appropriate site supervisor, the Industrial Painter will be responsible to ensure Aecon Construction Solutions Inc. achieves their general and specific project requirements.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking as necessary
  • Mix paint and coatings according to specifications
  • Ensure proper coverage and finish quality
  • Monitor drying times and make adjustments as needed
  • Inspect finished products for defects or imperfections

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

  • Physical strength and stamina
  • Proficient in using power tools, hand tools, and other equipment related to painting
  • Manual dexterity
  • A safetyconscious attitude
  • The ability to work with others in a team
  • Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve issues with painting equipment
  • Repetitive movement
  • Able to perform in a fastpaced environment
  • Continuously changing work tasks
  • Ability to work a significant number of hours throughout the day
  • Ability to lift and work with materials weighing up to 25kg
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions and environments
5/2 shift


Salary:
$19.50-$27.79 per hour
