Description

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for ordering and procuring all necessary inventory categories (Bakery, Confection, Grocery, Gifting)
  • Ordering product quantities based on sales forecast (working with sales team on replenishment cycle)
  • Document historical & projection of freight rates from various FOB points (LTL, FTL & Containers Loads 40HC, 20GP)
  • Updating inbound tracker with the status of all incoming loads & stock. Oversee claims process with vendors
  • Flagging all shortages and to inform payables and sales department in a timely manner
  • Providing forecasted PO issue value for the next 36 months
  • Assist order desk and sales support on an adhoc basis (Packing Slips, Inventory checks, Order Processing)
  • Assist payables team with verifying invoices (vendors & suppliers)
  • Fulfill all quality assurance admin requirements specified by consultant partners. Ensuring that all products imported meet federal quality assurance requirements.

Education & Experience

  • Post Secondary Education ideally in an analytical field (Business, Finance or Supply Chain)
  • Minimum 23 years experience in purchasing or finance related field
  • Experience with QuickBooks is an asset
  • Experience in forecasting

Salary:
$56,500.00-$68,500.00 per year
