As our Payroll Specialist, you will collaborate with the Operations, Sales, and Product teams to improve Knit's processes and ensure that all clients receive exceptional service.

As our prospective Payroll Specialist, you will be working closely with the Operations, Sales, and Product teams to improve Knit's processes and ensure that all of our clients have a fantastic customer experience

  • Provide support and troubleshooting to our clients
  • Manage the onboarding of new clients
  • Organize projects across multiple departments to meet key deadlines
  • Become a platform expert able to teach others all the nitty gritty stuff
  • Responsible & fully accountable for the payroll & audit function of multiple clients.
  • Responsible for scheduling and running the assigned client payrolls by following standard operating procedures.
  • Maintains complete and accurate client profile notes as well as processing instructions for each client
  • Utilize all internal tools & defined processes to ensure optimal productivity, service excellence and make recommendations for best practices to customers
  • Initiate pre and post production calls with a clients
  • Performs quarterly & yearend audits including file review
  • Provide critical and accurate statutory information to clients in the payroll area, such as tax filing. Use the various knowledge bases, resource materials and appropriate websites to locate answers and solutions for issues.
  • Provide input and create strategies as to how we can make our client's experience even better
  • Collaborate in improving organizationwide processes to help us scale

What we hope to see in your background:

  • 1-2 years of experience in payroll and benefits management
  • Bookkeeping and accounting experience is a plus
  • PCP or CPM certification is a plus
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills
  • High degree of organization and attention to detail
  • Strong sense of ownership and commitment to working quickly and accurately in a fastpaced environment
