    JOB DESCRIPTION


    Midland Transport is currently seeking a Reefer Mechanic at the Brampton Maintenance Facility. The selected candidate will be a self‑starter with a strong work ethic and a "Can Do" attitude.

    SHIFT SCHEDULE


    SUNDAY TO WEDNESDAY - 3pm - 1:30am
    OR
    SATURDAY TO MONDAY - 6am - 6:30pm

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Conduct diagnostics, repair, and maintenance on reefer units
    • Conduct regular safety inspections and preventative maintenance on reefer
    • Repair or replace faulty parts and components
    • Performing mechanical work on vehicles or components
    • Ensuring quality of work
    • Maintaining orderly and clean working habits
    • Reporting nonconforming situations
    • Assist with maintenance of trucks and trailers if needed
    • Other projects and duties as assigned by the shop manager

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Education Required: Trade Certification / Red Seal /310J license
    • Years of Experience Required: 2+ Years
    • Ozone Depletion Card is required
    • Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude
    • Proficient in diagnosing and repairing reefer units
