Who We Are:

The Role:

We are currently searching for a
Supervisor, Operations reporting to the Assistant Manager, Operations. This is a Full-Time Permanent opportunity. The availability to work all shifts in a 24-hour operation is necessary to succeed in this role.

Location:

On-site at the Winnipeg Distribution Centre

What You'll Be Doing:

Supervise scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of fleet and equipment and coordination of their delivery and return with dispatchers
Training of new and existing employees and performance management
Ensure vendors/service providers are meeting the needs of the operation in a timely and costefficient manner
Advise drivers on fleet/equipment related questions and provide training where necessary
Monitoring fleet related key budgetary accounts and ensure cost targets are met
Ensure the company's Health and Safety, Operational and Budgetary efficiencies are met
Exemplify the Company's dedication to customer service
Other responsibilities involve Inventory, Quality Control, SOX and Audit compliance
Maintain adherence to company fleet policies and MTO regulations
Perform other related projects and duties as required

Who You Are - Your Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent required

Experience:

3+ years of Supervisory experience preferred
A minimum of 5 years of operations experience
Previous experience working in a unionized environment would be a strong asset
Previous experience with SAP is considered an asset

Skills:

Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills
The ability to make sound decisions in a timely fashion
Proven leadership ability to effectively manage the team of direct reports
Above average communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety, Ministry of Transportation and WCB regulations
