    Shared Health leads the planning and coordinates the integration of patient-centered clinical and preventive health services across Manitoba. The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations.

    Position Overview

    Reporting to the Secretary IV, the Clerk Typist III is responsible for the effective, efficient provision of clerical support for the laboratory.

    Experience

  • A minimum of 6 months recent related experience preferred
  • Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)

  • Complete high school education, Manitoba standards, required
  • Successful completion of a recognized secretarial program required
  • Medical terminology course required
  • A combination of education and experience may be considered
  • Qualifications and Skills

  • Microsoft Office Programs
  • Typing 50 – 55 words per minute
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Good organizational skills
  • Ability to work with Dictaphone may be required
  • Physical Requirements

  • Good mental and physical health required to meet the demands of the position
