ERP Systems Manager - Edmonton, Canada - Stream-Flo Industries Ltd.
Description
Key Position Functions:
- Collaborate with Senior Management and closely liaise with department and functional Managers to review and improve overall ERP system value and efficiency, including business functions related to Finance, Sales, Engineering, Service, Manufacturing, Production Planning, Supply Chain, Quality Assurance, Inventory Management, Document Management, IT, ERP Security and Data Governance.
- Manage the business investigation, resolution and implementation of system change requests for business processes and enhancements to the ERP system.
- Ensure the provision of quality solutions by designing and executing detailed test cases and by working with the testing team to ensure adequate regression testing is performed.
- Design, develop and implement processes, policies and procedures that are consistent with best business practices for Stream-Flo Group of Companies (SFGC).
- Assist management with the vision, direction, and facilitation of strategic and future planning.
- Plan and manage the design, testing and implementation of process and system changes in accordance with scheduled system release packages.
- Identify system deficiencies and make continual improvements by keeping industry best practices in context.
- Ensure effective Vendor management and alignment with ERP systems hosting partner and AMS support partners.
- Create and develop a team of functional and technical specialists that partner with the business to continuously improve, optimize, and enhance business processes and their use of SAP as the ERP solution for the business.
Qualifications and Experience Requirements:
- University Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Extensive working knowledge in at least two major functional areas of SAP S/4 HANA modules.
- Manufacturing, supply chain, quality assurance and inventory management process knowledge is an asset.
- Sound knowledge of software development and solutions delivery life cycles, with demonstrated experience in leveraging different implementation methodologies.
- Demonstrated expertise in people management skills.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and to build productive relationships with stakeholders, colleagues, and reporting team.
- Dynamic problem solver with a track record for building innovative solutions.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to author technical specifications, presentations, and other documentation.
- Strong ability to collaborate, influence and negotiate to build consensus.
