WHO IS THE ASSOCIATE STORE MANAGER?

The Associate Store Manager reports to the Store General Manager and coaches a dynamic team of sales professionals and customer-centric support employees.

Along with the other members of the leadership team, this role is responsible for consistently ensuring a positive customer experience Associate Store Manager is accountable for both financial and non-financial results for sales and credit businesses, through effective leadership of these teams.


WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOMPLISHING IN THE ROLE

  • Recruit, train & coach new team members in a timely fashion
  • Responsible for acting as Manager on Duty to obtain profitable results
  • Maximize the customer experience by taking personal responsibility to ensure the satisfaction of every customer
  • Support the adherence to credit and sales policies
  • Attend & participate in all scheduled meetings and training sessions
  • Ensure a positive customer experience by managing customer orders, deliveries, and resolving customer issues
  • Participate as H&S management representative
  • Other duties as assigned to help the business move forward

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED
Education

  • Postsecondary education in Business/Marketing/Economics
Experience

  • 3+ years experience as a retail manager or supervisor
  • Previous work experience in a commissioned environment is beneficial
Skills and Abilities

  • An exceptionally high achievement orientation, as demonstrated by your desire to succeed.
  • Great time management skills and aboveaverage written and verbal communication skills
  • A proven track record in analyzing selling skills, coaching highearning commissioned salespeople and coaching Sales Managers to achieve desired results with their teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze reports and information to determine plans of action for increasing sales and profitability.
  • Strong ability to coach & analyze KPI's while driving sales results in a demanding environment
  • Proven ability in resolving complex escalated customer issues.
  • Demonstrated ability in supporting various business needs through constant reprioritization based on the current situation.
  • Talent in recruiting and hiring exceptional team players.
  • Availability to work fulltime rotation hours which includes day, night, evening, weekend and holiday shifts as well as peak periods such as March Anniversary and Boxing Week
