Liberty Women's Health is the focused practice of Dr. Johneen Manning, a physician working in the areas of primary care gynaecology, dermatology, and medical aesthetics.


JOB DESCRIPTION
We are currently seeking a
Part-Time Medical Office Assistant (MOA).

You will have an opportunity to contribute meaningful change for the people we care for and be a respected and essential member of a small and busy clinic.

Under the supervision of the Medical Director, the MOA's role is as follows:

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Book and guide clients through inquires surrounding clinical services and retail products.
  • Coordinate patient visits, accepting and processing payment for retail uninsured services.
  • Directs requests appropriately, providing accurate information
  • Administrative support to Physician / Medical Director
  • Ensure clinician schedules are optimized
  • Performs general service duties including preparing requisitions and samples to send to lab, and reports.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of and compliance with established policies and procedures
  • Special projects
  • Maintain an awareness of a safe environment for patients and staff and reports any concerns to the Medical Director.
  • Respond immediately and appropriately to clinic emergencies.

Qualifications

  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated leadership and strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent decision making, problem recognition, problem solving skills, negotiation and conflict resolution skills
  • Demonstrated satisfactory work performance and attendance record
  • Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision and collaboratively as a member of multidisciplinary team
  • Proficiency and experience working in a computerized environment
  • Previous Accuro EMR and Jane App software experience an asset
  • Excellence in customer service and exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Organize time and set priorities effectively
  • BCLS and CPR Certification

$ based on experience


Schedule:


  • Monday to Friday
  • Total three 4hour shifts per week
  • No evenings
  • No weekends
