    Description

    To fulfill Pattison Agricultures' vision of GROWING, CONNECTING AND EVOLVING we are looking for a Human Capital Coordinator who will report to the Human Capital Manager and will be based out of Swift Current or Yorkton.


    Responsibilities

    This individual's responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with day to day operations of the HC department functions and duties
  • Working with and supporting recruiting activities (including creation of job postings, screening interviews, reference checks, liaise with position supervisor/managers, etc.)
  • Supporting department managers in administration and scheduling of regularly occurring HC processes
  • Facilitating new hire orientation and on-boarding requirements
  • Assisting staff to interpret and implement HC/Organizational policies and procedures
  • Attending and actively contributing in HC organizational meetings and committees
  • General HC administration such as filing, data entry, document preparation and distribution, legislative research, etc.
  • Other HC administrative tasks
  • Works collaboratively as a full partner within the Human Capital department
  • Maintains a clean work area and performing work in a neat and orderly fashion
  • Follows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments
  • Ensures all safety regulations and requirements are followed by self and others
  • Works to build and maintain constructive co-worker relations, and effective and productive team dynamics
  • Participates in training programs as required for the development of skills and knowledge
  • Requirements

  • Certificate or diploma in a Human Resources or related field (business, commerce, HR, etc.) A combination of education and experience may be considered
  • Knowledge of Employment Standards Act and relevant legislation is beneficial
  • Ability to read, write, and speak effectively with customers and/or other employees
  • Candidate must have:

  • Good attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficient in working with others, in a team environment
  • Candidate must be professional and be able to exercise discretion and judgment when handling confidential and sensitive information
  • Willingness to work flexible hours as needed
  • Administrative expertise and knowledge of office procedures
  • Skilled in using Microsoft Office Suite and internet applications
  • Valid driver's license required
