Position Summary:


TriQuest NDT is a wholly owned subsidiary of Rockwood Service Corporation and provides full service non-destructive testing, inspection, and integrity services throughout North America to the Oil & Gas industry, Manufacturing, Fabrication, Power Generation, In-Service Piping, and Above Ground Storage Tanks.

We are currently seeking an
_API 510 Inspector with ABSA ISI_ to support our growing Fort McMurray operations. This is a full-time permanent rotational position (7/7) with direct flights out of Calgary and Edmonton.


Responsibilities:


  • Perform visual and nondestructive examination of static and dynamic pressure retaining equipment in accordance with API standard 510.
  • Submit to client technically accurate reports documenting equipment condition.
  • Provide client with technical recommendations for the repair, rerate, replacement, and/or alteration of plant equipment, as required for safe operation within stated operating parameters for durations specified by client.
  • Provide technical input to client as required for welding and metallurgical issues.
  • Fully comply with all TriQuest and client safe work practices and actively participate in all site safety initiatives.

Requirements:


  • API 510 certification with ABSA ISI certification. Additional API certifications will be considered an asset.
  • Reside locally to Edmonton or Calgary, AB area.
  • Technical report writing skills.
  • Strong work ethics.
  • Ability to maintain positive working relations with clients.
  • Exceptional safety and quality awareness.
  • Ability to solve problems and manage time effectively.
  • Selfmotivated and capable of working at a high technical and performance level.
  • Valid driver's license.
