ROLE SUMMARY


Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Financial Correspondent at North Pole Hoops plays a crucial role in managing various financial tasks within the company.

This position involves handling responsibilities such as preparing documents for the accountant, managing staff payments, and assisting with financial projections.

The Financial Correspondent contributes to the smooth operation of the company's financial processes in a dynamic and growing environment.

The Financial Correspondent is expected to follow and promote our philosophy of

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Input and maintain accurate financial records, including receipts and expenses, into relevant spreadsheets and software systems.
  • Prepare financial documents for the company's accountant, ensuring all relevant information is included and appropriately organized.
  • Assist in the reconciliation of financial accounts, identifying and resolving discrepancies as needed.
  • Process payroll for all staff members, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
  • Maintain uptodate records of staff salaries, deductions, and benefits.
  • Support the development of financial projections, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Assist in the analysis of financial performance, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Help track and monitor financial KPIs, providing regular updates to management.
  • Ensure financial processes adhere to relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Assist in the preparation and submission of financial reports and statements as required by management or regulatory bodies.
  • Collaborate with other departments to gather financial data and address inquiries.
  • Provide support on adhoc financial tasks and projects as needed.
  • Coordinate with the Chief Executive Officer in order to create a personal growth program (e.g. courses, books, seminars, etc).

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:


  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and familiarity with accounting software.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Previous experience in a financial or administrative role is a plus.
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial concepts.
  • Reliable, punctual, hard work and motivated selfstarter.
  • Solutionbased mindset

$16.00-$18.00 per hour
