    This is a full-time on-site role for an Associate Lawyer at JK Law.

    The Associate Lawyer will be responsible for handling various legal matters, including real estate transactions, corporate/commercial law, wills and estate, family law, and immigration.

    The day-to-day tasks may include drafting legal documents, conducting legal research, representing clients in court, and providing legal advice and support.

    Strong knowledge and experience in real estate law, wills and estate, family law and immigration,
    Experience in drafting legal documents and conducting legal research
    Between one and three years of experience in civil litigation, immigration, and family law;
    Experience in personal injury law will be an asset but required.
    Experience in related practice areas and additional languages is an asset
    Member in good standing of the Law Society of Alberta
    Good working knowledge of MS Office Suite;
    Some clients would be an asset;

    We are happy to take on a more senior lawyer with an existing practice and will consider compensation models that take into account the value of the existing client base.
