About the position

Responsibilities

Support children's emotional, physical, and behavioural wellbeing; while helping to develop their social, emotional, cognitive and physical skills.
Maintain documentation, reporting, and record keeping.
Implement an Emergent Curriculum
Maintain attendance, and health and safety checks
Work with professionals, such as Speech Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Early Interventionists, as necessary.
Support children through transitions in and out of the classrooms
Meet all classroom ratios
Participate and help lead staff meetings and workshops
Assist the Centre Director with child/ staff files and other ministry requirements.

What you need

Registered as an ECE IT in the province of British Columbia
Criminal record check
Valid Childcare First Aid and CPR
Immunizations up to date
Ability to push, pull and lift upto 45 pounds
