Education:
College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
Work setting:
- Private sector
Key Responsibilities:
- Review, assess, and implement new administrative procedures
- Delegate tasks to office support staff
- Establish work priorities, ensure compliance with procedures, and meet deadlines
- Perform administrative activities for the establishment
- Manage policies and procedures for record release under government access to information and privacy laws
- Coordinate office services such as accommodations, relocations, supplies, and security
- Assist in budget preparation, maintain inventory, and budgetary controls
- Compile data, prepare reports, manuals, and correspondence
- Conduct data entry tasks
- Provide training to staff
- Supervise office administrative procedures
- Handle conflict resolution
- Plan and oversee budget and expenses
Supervision:
- 34 individuals
Computer and Technology Skills:
- Spreadsheet usage
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Word
