Primoris Canada is an infrastructure contractor serving major firms in the oil, gas, power, petrochemical, and heavy oil industries and include services covering tailings and hydro-transport pipeline construction and maintenance, storage tank construction and maintenance, industrial facilities multi-discipline construction and maintenance, piping fabrication, and pipeline integrity services.


SUMMARY
The Accounts Payable Administrator is responsible for a variety of bookkeeping and/or accounting support duties.


Location:
Acheson, AB (Primoris Canada Corporate Office)


Position:
Full time/Permanent


JOB DUTIES

  • Input and review invoice information
  • Interface with vendors as needed to resolve invoice payments or related issues
  • Assist and train lesser experienced administrators
  • Assist in posting data to various logs according to established accounting techniques and procedures
  • Review the work of other clerks as required
  • Ensure supporting documentation is maintained & provided
  • Other duties as required by management

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS

  • High school diploma, or an acceptable combination of education and experience
  • 13 years' related experience
  • General knowledge of accounts payable theories and principles
  • Skilled in the use of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Must be comfortable learning new software packages
  • Must be able to work under pressure, to multitask, and meet deadlines
  • Must possess proven communication and interpersonal skills
