    Job description

    Accountabilities:

  • Ability to provide high quality patient care and quality imaging studies to the physician which will aid in diagnosis and treatment management of the patient
  • Use independent judgment and systematic problem solving methods to produce high quality diagnostic information and excellence in patient care delivery
  • Perform patient assessments and participate in the accurate maintenance of the patients' records
  • Assist with special procedures and other related duties as required
  • Job qualifications

  • Graduate of an approved program in radiological technology
  • Must be a current member in good standing with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists in Ontario
  • Must be competent in the production of quality radiographs/images
  • Working knowledge of CR/PACS/DR preferred
  • Excellent patient care skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment and independently when necessary
  • Excellent team-building and communication skills
  • Previous hospital experience an asset
  • Excellent attendance and work record
  • Must demonstrate Osler's Values of Respect, Excellence, Service, Compassion, Innovation and Collaboration
  • May be required to travel between and work at all Osler sites
  • Additional information

    Hours: Currently days/evenings/nights, eight hour shifts including weekends and statutory holidays (subject to change in accordance with operational requirements)

    This Job is Fully Onsite: Roles involved in direct patient care that are needed onsite for each shift.
