Your mission

The incumbent will carry out a precise inspection of all lenses and final control of all optical characteristics (axis, prescription, and prism) and cosmetic characteristics, in agreement with the fabrication order and by respecting Essilor standards.

Your main challenges

Calibrate the lens analyser for axis and prism at the beginning of the shift;
Enter all lenses by type of product;
Control the lenses optical characteristics (axis, prescription, prism) and cosmetic characteristics, in agreement with the fabrication order and by respecting ESSILOR standards;
Track the job tray to the next station and refer to immediate supervisor any problems;
Log good and rejected lenses into the delay shift production report;
Work closely with all inner Lab departments;
Help within the Varnish department and other stations whenever needed.

Profile:

High school diploma;
Two (2) years experience in a position where the mastery of optical and cosmetic standards is necessary;
Knowledge of type of lenses and lens material, optical products, lens tolerance and parameters of a lens;
Detail and precision oriented;
Ability to concentrate;
Strong visual acuity;
Ability to make decisions;
Highly flexible;
Team player with good communication skills
English - written and spoken.
