Position Overview

Responsibilities:


  • Manage and administer the organization's SaaS systems, ensuring their proper functioning, performance, and availability.
  • Monitor systems performance and troubleshoot technical issues, providing timely resolution to endusers and escalating complex problems when necessary.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to configure, customize, and integrate the systems to meet specific needs and requirements.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity within the student management systems, performing regular data backups and maintenance tasks.
  • Assist in the development and delivery of training and documentation for endusers to optimize their usage of the systems.
  • Stay uptodate with system updates, patches, and new releases, implementing them in a timely and coordinated manner.
  • Implement and enforce security measures to protect sensitive student data and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations.
  • Manage user access, permissions, and roles within the systems, following established security protocols.
  • Evaluate and recommend system enhancements, improvements, or thirdparty integrations to enhance functionality and user experience.
  • Collaborate with vendors and technical support teams to resolve systemrelated issues and implement system upgrades.

Technical Skills:


  • Proven experience in managing and administering SaaS systems or cloudbased platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of systems security management.
  • Proficiency in system configuration, customization, and integration techniques.
  • Familiarity with system monitoring tools and performance optimization strategies.
  • Experience with data backups, disaster recovery, and system maintenance procedures.
  • Understanding of data security and privacy principles, and experience implementing security measures.
  • Technical expertise in troubleshooting system issues and resolving user inquiries.

Relevant Experience:


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 35 years of experience in SaaS Systems administrator or a related role.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing Systems maintenance and heavy loads periods strategies and roadmaps.
  • Experience with cloudbased data architectures and technologies.
  • Experience in technical support, cloudbased systems administration.
  • Familiarity with Canvas or other learning management systems is preferred.
  • Experience in education or educational technology is a plus.
