We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our clients team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for operating a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. Your attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols will be crucial in ensuring the efficient and accurate movement of products within our warehouse.

** Must have a valid EXTERNAL forklift license in both counter balance and Raymond Reach**

**Must live in Oakville, Burlington, Mississauga or Hamilton***

Responsibilities:
- Operate a forklift to transport materials and products throughout the warehouse
- Load and unload trucks using a forklift or other equipment
- Stack and store merchandise in designated areas
- Ensure accuracy in inventory counts by performing regular cycle counts
- Inspect forklifts before each shift and report any maintenance or repair needs
- Follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times to prevent accidents or injuries
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

Experience:
- Previous experience as a Forklift Operator or similar role preferred
- Proficient in operating various types of forklifts, including clamp trucks and order pickers
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus
- Basic math skills for counting and verifying inventory
- Mechanical knowledge to perform routine maintenance on forklifts

- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate product movement and inventory counts
- Good communication skills to collaborate with team members and follow instructions
