We are currently looking for a capable and dependable Commerical Electrical Estimator with the primary responsibility of preparing estimates for commercial and industrial projects.

Responsibilities:


  • Prepare estimates for commercial and industrial electrical projects.
  • Calculate takeoff based upon drawings and blueprints.
  • Interpret documentation, specifications, and drawings Calculate labour and material costs for projects.
  • Work with management to prepare final quotes.
  • Finalize and compile tender documents for review and submission.
  • Site Walks and Safety Meetings, organizational & bid required attendance.
  • Ability to work with a variety of talented teams, team skills are an integral part of the position as you will require different departments within the organization to execute the work being bid.

Hours of Work:

Hours of work will typically be Monday to Friday 8AM -5PM. Overtime and weekends if necessary.


Education and Experience:


  • Electrical background with experience on commercial and industrial projects.
  • 2+ years electrical estimating experience.
  • Strong business development and project management skills (preferred).
  • Electrical ticket or degree (preferred) and strong computer skills.
  • Ability to work alone or in a team.
